Why the name "Klaus?"
Klaus is an 1850’s German Drinking Gnome who has followed Warren around the world- from his prior career as a master mixologist, rum judge, and off-premise, global brand ambassador in craft spirits.
Who is Warren Bobrow?
Warren has been a filmmaker with a degree from Emerson. A television engineer in the 1980’s for a short-while, he always wanted to be a chef, so he moved from NYC to York Harbor, Maine to became pot-scrubber, then a dishwasher, a cook, and he attended culinary school. He was the first fresh pasta manufacturer in Charleston, SC. Then came Hurricane Hugo in 1989, when he lost everything.
He was forced to become an executive assistant in a bank to pay back his many intangible debts in life. All these jobs were massive failures until he took an internship/job as a barback at fifty years old (!!!) for a talented guy named Chris James who is a bartending legend from New Jersey. A unique adventure, steeped in cannabis lore followed!
Warren focuses his day-to-day passion as the CEO/Master Mixologist/Co-Founder of Klaus the Gnome, Inc.
In addition to his career in cannabis libations, he writes for Skunk Magazine, Cannabis Cactus Magazine, and Different Leaf Magazine
He is the author of six books including Cannabis Cocktails, Mocktails and Tonics and Apothecary Cocktails.
